The seating group, consisting of four armchairs, was made in France in the 18th century, during the Louis XV period. The carved wooden structure with reserves, scrolls, and raised floral decorations is lacquered in ivory and blue tones. The backrest of the armchairs, upholstered in fabric, is slightly curved and sinuous. The armrests, padded in the center with fabric, providing a comfortable support, are connected to the seat, also upholstered in fabric, with arched elements. The four legs, sinuous and curved, are carved and lacquered in two colors. The fabric used for the armchairs, with a naturalistic pattern, is modern and in good condition. A three-seater sofa, with a similar design and color to the armchairs, is also available from the same salon. The backrest is wrap-around and continues sideways to provide greater comfort. The armrests are upholstered in fabric. The curvilinear wooden structure, with seven sinuous legs, is very graceful and particularly decorative. The sofa is completed by three cushions upholstered in the same fabric. It is also possible to increase the seating capacity with two other French armchairs, also from the same Louis XV period, upholstered in the same fabric. The structure and carvings of these two seats are very similar: they are lacquered in two colors in ivory and gray tones, with reserves, frames, and raised floral elements. The armchairs and sofa, as a whole, are very refined and elegant, highly decorative for a living room or entryway, and can be placed either as a group or divided into different spaces. The light coloration of the lacquers used and the type of fabric with which they are presented lend these seats great luminosity, making them suitable alongside antique or modern furnishings.
