Double-bodied cabinet in carved walnut wood, Piedmont, 17th century Dimensions: W max 162 x D max 72 x H 215 Price between €9,500.00 and €10,500.00 Object accompanied by a certificate of authenticity The double-bodied cabinet, in good condition, is made of solid walnut wood decorated with geometric carvings characteristic of the taste prevalent in the Piedmont and French area in the 17th century. Specifically, this cabinet was made in Piedmont and consists of two parts. The upper part has two doors that conceal a compartment divided by a shelf. Below the tall ones are two small drawers and in the center a small pull-out compartment. Below, the cabinet widens in size while maintaining the specular scheme of the upper part. Therefore, the upper band has two more comfortable drawers and the same pull-out in the middle. The underlying body, with two doors, closes a comfortable and spacious compartment divided by a shelf. The cabinet is entirely sculpted, even on the sides, and although it belongs to a category of rustic furniture, the beautiful carving and the graceful compositional architecture of the whole give modernity and greater usability in many environments. It is in fact possible to place this double body in the bedroom, in a study, in a kitchen as a pantry cabinet, in a living room as a sideboard or even in a spacious bathroom to store linen and cosmetics. The color of the walnut wood essence and the rhomboidal geometry of the carvings allow you to combine the cabinet with modern furniture, following a choice of taste that is very current and trendy today.
